We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Esthetician Instructor to join our team, following the specific requirements of the Postsecondary and Training Institution Regulation Unit (PTIRU). This position is an exciting opportunity to help train and develop future professionals in the medical aesthetics field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach medical esthetics courses, covering areas such as skincare treatments, laser therapies, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and more.
• Ensure that all curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching methods comply with PTIRU standards.
• Provide both theoretical and hands-on instruction, ensuring students gain practical experience and knowledge of current industry techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance, in accordance with PTIRU regulations.
• Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and support for their professional growth.
• Uphold safety protocols and maintain a compliant learning environment that adheres to PTIRU and industry health regulations.
• Contribute to the development of course materials and continually update content to reflect industry advancements.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Medical Esthetician Certification and be licensed in Canada in compliance with PTIRU standards.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical esthetician, with expertise in a variety of medical aesthetic procedures.
• Previous teaching experience or formal training in education is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of PTIRU standards and regulations related to vocational training institutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively teach and motivate students.
• Ability to stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices.

Preferred:

• Advanced certification in medical esthetics or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or additional training in education.
• Experience working with regulatory bodies such as PTIRU or equivalent institutions.
