Esthetician Program Instructor

Job Overview:

Edenbrook College is looking for a qualified Esthetician Program Instructor to train students in professional esthetics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in skincare, body treatments, and beauty techniques, along with a passion for teaching and mentoring future estheticians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1,000 hours of hands-on training and theoretical instruction in esthetics.
• Teach skincare treatments, facials, body treatments, waxing, makeup application, and salon management.
• Ensure students understand and adhere to industry hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through practical demonstrations, written exams, and assignments.
• Stay updated with government and PTIRU requirements, ensuring all students meet admission criteria.
• Provide career guidance and preparation for licensing exams and employment.
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, progress reports, and assessments.
• Keep up with industry trends, advanced skincare treatments, and cosmetic procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Certification in Esthetics, Cosmetology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an esthetician, skincare specialist, or in a related role.
• Teaching experience or an instructor certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in advanced facial and body treatments, skincare technology, and spa management.
• Knowledge of PTIRU admission regulations, including documentation and compliance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
• Commitment to student success and professional growth.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in medical esthetics, spa management, or holistic beauty treatments.
• Familiarity with beauty business management and client relations.
• Proficiency in esthetician software and salon booking systems.
• Ability to integrate real-world case studies and demonstrations into lessons.
